Ron Evans, previous to starting his career in photography, had been employed in many diverse occupations, from accounts office worker to working in the Cannock Chase coal-mines.
He decided to specialise in garden photography in 1994 following several years as a landscape and travel photographer. He is also a well known artist who has held many successful exhibitions with his oil paintings of wildlife and landscapes.
An artistic photographer who is inspired by the sight, sounds, and wonderful scents of nature, found in the verdant rolling countryside of the British Isles.
Today he is recognised world wide for his distinctive and inspirational photographic images that grace many floral greeting cards, calendars, books and magazines, that include Country Living, Homes & Gardens, BBC Gardeners World, The English Garden.
